Please register using the forms below and send to Sarah as soon as possible for 2016, so instructors can be planned.
All students MUST register by April 1, 2016 to guarantee a spot.
Camp Director Sarah Wasson will be heading up the camp and instructors. Interested youth ages 6-18 years of age will be allowed to sign up for the fun but structured camp. The camp consists of professional instructors and will teach students in small group and one-on-one sessions – brand new through advanced. There will be over 15 hours of hands on instruction (banjo, mandolin, fiddle, guitar and bass) covering topics such as: basic instrument care and handling, vocals and harmonies, stage presence and working with microphones, songwriting, jam etiquette – you name it!
We need advanced kids to sign up! You are never too old to learn and we have some great new instructors coming to teach. Advanced kids form their own band and perform as an advanced group, so if you know a lot about your instrument already and you want to meet new kids your age and play on the Bean Blossom stage, give Sarah a call!
Thanks so much to the sponsors of the 2016 Boot Camp – Central Indiana Bluegrass Association, the Bean Blossom Jamboree Foundation, Friends of Miss Dixie Foundation, and Ricks Music and Main Street Studio.
