Welcome to the Bill Monroe Music Park & Campground
We will be shutting off power and water to all camping sites beginning November 1. Primitive camping in the woods will still be available. Our cabins will remain open until Sunday, November 8.
We are taking all necessary precautions to make your stay as safe as possible by sanitizing showers and restrooms and keeping social distancing. Our campground store and office is open, masks are required when entering the building and if you can't maintain social distancing inside restrooms/laundry, etc. Please help us by following social distancing guidelines and do not camp if you are sick.
We would like to thank everyone for their support during these tough times, and we look forward to seeing you at Bill Monroe Music Park & Campground.
Mobile check-in is now available! When you book a campsite through our reservation system, you will be sent a QR code via your phone to check-in virtually, after hours and no need to check-in inside the office. One more way we are observing the social distancing guidelines.
Pastor Baggett Lake is available for catch and release fishing only - NO SWIMMING IS PERMITTED IN THE LAKE.
FESTIVALS AND EVENTS - UPCOMING EVENTS CANCELLED..
The Brown County Health Department has recommended that all our events/festivals for 2020 be cancelled. We are taking their recommendation and cancelling the scheduled 2020 events/festival. As of now, there are no specific dates for 2021. We thank you for your understanding during these unprecedented times and look forward to seeing everyone hopefully again in 2021 for our annual festivals and events.
Known for some of the best bluegrass festivals in the country, the historic Bill Monroe Music Park & Campground is also one of the largest campgrounds in southern Indiana. The campground offers sites with water/electric, fire rings, picnic tables and is pet friendly. In addition to the camp sites, we have rustic and primitive cabins, 2 recreational campers and a home available to rent. The park is located just 5 miles from the town of Nashville, Indiana. There are plenty of activities to keep you busy throughout the day - mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, fishing, shopping, dining, live entertainment and the largest park in Indiana - Brown County State Park.
The family will enjoy exploring our 55 acres, catch and release fishing in Pastor Baggett Lake or bring your non-motorized boat. No Swimming allowed in the lake. We have an on-site camp store to purchase firewood, ice and some small essentials. Explore our Bill Monroe Museum and Gift Shop during your visit, free admission.
