Throughout the festival, patrons can enjoy the fun and educational music and instrument workshops planned on the Artist Workshop Stage located at the top of Hippy Hill. There will be a wide variety of workshops including: beginning-advanced levels on banjo, guitar, fiddle, mandolin and bass; mountain and bluegrass vocals, group harmony, songwriting, band promotion, Bean Blossom history and more. All workshops are taught by either professionals or the artists performing at this year's event. Miss Bertie Sullivan returns to Bean Blossom this year to host this year's workshop and showcase stage.

National and International bluegrass bands will be showcasing their talents on both the historic Main Stage, as well as, the Workshop Stage during the festival. Stay tuned for more information!

Sunday-Tuesday, June 13-15, 2010 . Camp Director Sarah Wasson will be heading up the camp and instructors. Interested youth ages 6-18 years of age will be allowed to sign up for the fun but structured camp. The Youth Bluegrass Boot Camp consists of professional instructors and will teach students in small group and one-on-one sessions - brand new through advanced. There will be over 16 hours of hands on instruction (banjo, mandolin, fiddle, guitar and bass) covering topics such as: basic instrument care and handling, vocals and harmonies, stage presence and working with microphones, songwriting, jam etiquette - you name it! Included in your new festival ticket purchase is admission to Bill Monroe's Bluegrass Hall of Fame, Museum & Uncle Pen's Cabin self-guided tour; all music and instrument workshops and activities scheduled at the Artist Workshop Stage; access to all food concessions and merchants. Parking is FREE and handicap accessible.

On-site festival camping is available at discounted rates. Advanced reserved water and electrical hook-ups are limited to approximately 300 sites.

30 amp = $21.40 / per day;
50 amp = $26.75 / per day; all sites double occupancy.

Additional adults on a hook-up site or primitive tent site = $6.42 per person / per day in advance. Unlimited dry camping for chance is available in Brummet's field.

All campers must purchase a ticket for every day of camping. Prices include all applicable state and local taxes.

Non-reserved gate arrivals will see an increase in camp rates.

In order to provide a safer environment for all festival attendees and campers, ATV's and/or 4-wheeler's will not be allowed into the campground. A limited number of golf cart's provided by Cunningham Golf Car (800) 456-1577 will be available for rent per day, for the weekend or by the week. Daily shuttle service will also be available throughout the day.

This festival has general admission, lawn chair seating. High backed chairs ARE NOT allowed for they impair the view of others. Please remember that all shows go on rain or shine at Bean Blossom. There are no rain checks or refunds. A rain shelter is provided for your convenience.

All acts and times are subject to change without prior notice.

Alcohol, smoking, pets and large coolers ARE NOT ALLOWED in the concert area. Drugs, firearms, fireworks and ATV's ARE BANNED from Bean Blossom.
All violators will be prosecuted. Security and/or local law enforcement will be on the premises 24 hours to ensure that our festival patrons and campers have a wonderful time and memorable experience at Bean Blossom.
