JOHN HARTFORD MEMORIAL CAMPOUT - A Special Week of Camping & Music in Memory of John Hartford & John Hotze | JUNE 2-5, 2021

Keeping the tradition of the John Hartford festival alive, June 2-5 will be in memory of John Hartford and John Hotze. There will be music on the main stage Thursday, Friday and Saturday.  

We would like to Thank You for your support of Bill Monroe Music Park and Campground. We will continue to follow all of our Festival Health Procedures and Guidelines moving forward. We are dedicated to continuing to be cautious and protecting the well being of our campers.

Tickets will not be sold this year. The campout will be open to everyone who has a camping reservation. If you are coming for the weekend or overnight and don't have a camper, you will need to make a tent reservation online. Tent camping is $12 per person, per day. If you planning to come on Thursday, you will need to make tent reservations for 3 days, if you are coming on Friday, tent reservations will be for 2 days, and Saturday, tent reservations for one day.

There are a limited number of 2-seat and 4-seat golf cart rentals available. All rental golf carts are rented on a first come, first serve basis and must be paid in full to reserve a cart, no refunds. You must have an online camping reservation to reserve a golf cart. One golf cart rental per person, drivers must be 18 years or older. Only the designated number of people will be permitted on the carts. You must have a valid driver's license to rent a golf cart. Please bring your receipt and valid driver's license with you when you pick up the golf cart, all renters will be required to sign a release waiver. Golf carts will be ready for pick up the first day of the event after 10 am and must be returned to the original pick up location by noon the day after the event is over.

Bill Monroe Music Park & Campground will be following the parks Festival Health Procedures and Guidelines during the campout to encourage safe practices and to protect everyone in hopes of making everyone feel more comfortable attending. We encourage everyone to follow these procedures and guidelines, helping to mitigate the risk while providing a reasonably healthy and safe environment. Please read these guidelines prior to your arrival.

RESERVATIONS:
1.Terms & Agreement – please make sure to accept the Terms & Agreement for your reservation before arrival. You will not be able to check-in if you have not done this.
2. Tickets are not being sold for this campout.
a. Everyone who enters the park must be a paid, registered camper. Initial rates for all RV sites are based on a 2-person occupancy.
b. If you are planning on having more than 2 people on your site, their names and additional fees must be paid through your camping reservation in advance prior to your arrival. Children 12 & under are free.
c. If you have additional guests, please email the office (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) with their complete names and indicate adult or child under 13 so we can add them and process the additional fees of $12 per day, per person to your reservation prior to your arrival. These fees are not pro-rated and will be applied to your confirmed reservation dates.
d. Primitive tent camping is $12 per person, per night, up to 6 at each site. Tent camping is first come, first serve regarding tent site setup location. If you arrive on Thursday, you will be paying for 3 nights, arrival on Friday – pay for 2 nights; arrival on Saturday – pay 1 night. Cars must be parked in the front parking lots.

CHECK-IN:
1. You may arrive any time after 11 am the day of your reservation.
2. Everyone will be required to wear a wristband while in the park. Wristbands will be issued and applied at the gate; each registered guest must be present to receive a band.
3. Campers will be escorted to their site.
4. You may have your camper/tent, canopy and 1 vehicle on your site provided everything fits within your site and not on the road or your neighbor’s campsite.
5. Additional vehicles/trailers, etc. must park in the front parking lot.
6. There is a $10 fee if you bring your own golf cart.
7. Once you have checked-in, you will receive an email to renew and pay for your existing site for next year. You will have 30 days to accept and pay for your site. After 30 days, if you have not accepted, your site will be opened online.

VENDORS:
There will be limited food and merchandise vendors on site this year, we hope you visit them during the campout.
